Sandy Stewart Mini Fest

SANDY STEWART

Sandy was involved in many areas of youth soccer at JDF. He ran referee training courses, mentored referees, was involved in scholarship committees, helped with player assessments, and was the divisional coordinator for multiple years. He spent countless hours volunteering his time wherever he was needed, but what he was mostly known for was his coaching, and for fighting for what was best for kids in every aspect of soccer, school and life.

One of Sandy's guiding principles was that if something was good for kids, it was worth doing, and worth doing well, for ALL kids. We want to thank Sandy and his family for all they have done for JDF. So today let's make sure all kids, regardless of what team they play for, have a positive experience around the game of soccer as their families cheer them on!

TOURNAMENT DETAILS

This is not a competitive tournament. There are no trophies to be won and no standings will be recorded. Do your best to make it a fun and enjoyable time for everyone, including the match officials.

At the end of each game coaches will select an Impact player from each team and award them a shirt.

After your teams 2nd game please make your way to the Info and Concession tents to receive your team medals.

The home team (listed first on the schedule) is responsible for the game ball and must wear a different coloured jersey/pinnie than its opponent.

Each team will play two games. The schedule is tight, so no additional time can be added to either half and the half-time interval will be brief.

All games will be played on JDF Grass Fields #1, #2, #3 and the velodrome. Please check the field maps above to confirm your game location.

The Information Tent is located at the front of JDF Grass Field #2. If you have any questions regarding your teams schedule, please go to the Information Tent.

On-site parking is limited, please allow plenty of time prior to the start of your game.
